Even when the lady didn’t understand English vocabulary yet (let’s remember that her family relocated to the United States by Czech Republic) she acquired her personal way of thinking and wasn’t frightened to show this.

The girl lives as a mother nature prompts with her, by behavioral instinct. Her own world is a world of stunning and naïve natures, but not a world of dissolute society. She is a strong girl and once her daddy dies and she has to pay all the whole day in the farmville farm working hard, she changes from being a mere girl to a grown-up female, which is sufficiently strong to conquer any troubles the life presents.

Jim Burden, being a boy, has very good center and is an open-hearted person. Still, he’s not so naïve, like Antonia and her family – those two cultures are a bit diverse. Antonia’s friends and family doesn’t be reluctant to share everything they have (let’s remember event, when the is hungry, and Antonia’s mother gives to Jim’s mother the mushrooms, they collected still in Czech and were keeping for a lengthy time).

When Jim comes to Antonia, asking if she will go to school, Antonia says that she is previously a grown-up and the girl doesn’t have moment for such silly childish stuff. But her words are just words – being a smart and curios girl the lady hates working hard – the girl wants to learn new things. It seems to her that she is about to die in that plantation or she’s dead surviving. Antonia really wants to change everything.

When Antonia started act as a employed girl in Harling’s friends and family, she discovered the model of life on her behalf in Mrs. Hurling. In fact, they had much in common: both of them were solid and self-employed natures, both of them knew what do they just like and don’t try to appear like somebody else. That they never imitated somebody’s activities or got the same view as majority. They were different from ordinary people, who lived in society stasis. They laughed at haughty people and helped to unlucky. Both of them had in the heart never-ending amount of joy and good mood, which produced other people to appreciate the same.

Regardless all the issues in her life, Antonia doesn’t want to change her life by loosing flexibility. Freedom and constant capability to change by simply her will certainly are the primary character top features of this girl. She loves dancing, and soon she becomes very popular. Users of Hartling family can’t stand her hobby and requesting her to refuse kind dancing, as it can spoil her popularity. Still, Antonia doesn’t need to keep dancing, although she has to halt working for Hartling’s. She refuses to sacrifice her independence.
