Glory is usually both a great awe inspiring and heart wrenching movie regarding the first all black volunteer organization to battle in the civil war. The movie starts off with Col. Robert Gould Shaw leading an organization of soldiers in Antietam which endures heavy loss. Soon he’s promoted to Colonel and given command to the 54th Massachusetts you are not selected infantry; the first almost all black regiment. The initially volunteer to register is an educated black gentleman named Jones Searles who may be also Shaws friend.
Many more males join the regiment which includes an escaped slave known as Trip, a no cost black gentleman named Jupiter Sharts, in addition to the gravedigger Rawlins. There are amazing battle scenes along with some very emotional scenes as well. Denzel Buenos aires was a wonderful actor, the scene where he was obtaining whipped intended for deserting (which we later find out was going to find shoes) while the colonel was watching was probably the most heart aching scenes in the movie. As well as great behaving the story hardly ever skips a beat. Discover never a dull minute. The movie had a clear storyline and you could easily discover why something was happening.
