The Coyotes first became a school in September eleven, 1956. This is the third institution introduced to Fullerton Union High School District. The first principal was Mr. Richard Spaulding. Buena Playground High School is definitely Californias just magnet college in the area of Aviation Sciences. All their Aviation program is called SOAR, or School of Modern aviation Research. BPHS is a only institution to remain inside the Freeway League during the entire thirty-seven year history. Today the league contains Buena Park, Fullerton, La Habra, Sonora, Sunny Slopes and Troy high educational institutions.
