This rock music helped to formulate the atmosphere and the quickly drum beats helped reinforce the speed. Both the men will be parted but Mickey maintains moving nearer to Edward displaying that he could be invading his space. This kind of happens a few times until Mrs Johnstone coatings her monologue.
