The writer’s style included in my joy in browsing the story since it contained a great deal of Bahamian dialect. I sensed the copy writer infused the writing with Bahamian vernacular in order to give a “cultural flavour” to the tale.

I gravitated toward “The Girl within the Gallows” for its writer’s style, my favourite approach being the imbedded significance, and portrayal – which will made me experience different feelings toward the characters; I despised Anacarla but sympathized with Christa. I chose “The Gaulin Wife” because of the use of dialect inside the writer’s style and the uncomplicated, facile, undemanding, easy, basic, simple, hard-to-miss motif.
