Patients may experience discomfort due to both environmental factors just like privacy requirements, lighting, noise, ventilation etc . As well as personal factors including age, disease, surgery, pressure etc . Healthcare professionals can help in lots of ways including assisting patients change to comfortable positions in their pickup bed, turn off lamps, provide rest by playing music, present emotional support by hearing patient’s problems, etc .
