One of the many tasks of a teacher is to show sensitivity and equitable treatment towards the selection in their class room. In my discipline experience classroom, I had the chance to observe distinct strategies and techniques used to meet the varied needs associated with an ESE (Exceptional Student Education) classroom in Howard A. Doolin Midsection School.
Mrs. Alcala and her 6th grade EBD (Emotionally Behaviorally Disabled) Math class include 7 college students, whom are learning about Jeu, Decimals, and Percents.
Mrs. Alcala executed a lesson plan that might help her students figure out and strengthen their capacity to use equivalent forms of Jeu, Decimals, and Percents to solve problems. The lesson started out with a start off on basic mathematical businesses. She gave the students five minutes to try and complete the start off, and then asked students to come up to the clever board to fix the problems. After the warm-up, as being a class, that they went within the vocabulary words and phrases for the lesson such as fractions, decimals, and percents. Mrs. Alcala then commenced teaching the lesson and doing cases projecting all of them on the wise board. Through the entire lesson the students took becomes going up for the smart board to practice cases. Some students were able to solve the problems on their own and some required prompting in the teacher. Following the examples, Mrs. Alcala played out a 10 minute video on the intelligent board exhibiting the students step by step on how to fix problems concerning fractions, decimals, and percents. Next, the students were split up into two categories of two and one selection of three.

Throughout the group work the higher level students were grouped together with the lower level learners to give all of them more assistance. The students responded well to the video and manipulatives, and enjoyed having the ability to use the intelligent board to solve problems. While pupils were operating individually in groups, the teacher went around the class room asking the scholars if they will needed any kind of assistance.
