Due to their disorderly experiences in the city, Ponyboy, Johnny, and Randy could learn important life lessons. Ponyboy found that even though the town was separated into Greasers and Social events; they were every similar persons.

Johnny noticed that life was too short and did not have sufficient “good in it. Last but not least, Randy learned that precious time had been wasted to get fighting. General, living on the streets can teach teens various valuable lessons.

Ponyboy Curtis was one of the first characters to find out from his past. Initial, he found that they were all similar persons, no matter what bunch they were in. At the beginning of the storyplot, Ponyboy believed the Socs were rich socialites that owned high-priced cars and jumped Greasers, because staying part of the Greasers gang educated him that.

He later on realized that the Socs were actually similar to the Greasers; their social statuses were just isolating them. Ponyboy narrates, “Maybe the two distinct worlds all of us lived in weren’t so several.

We saw the same sunset (Hinton 41). He said this in realization the two bande were truly alike. Ponyboy also obtained knowledge that the Socs frequently had similar problems as the Greasers. For example , some Socs are sick and tired of fighting and wonder if the rivalry was worth it; Ponyboy and Johnny share precisely the same feelings. Ponyboy furthermore identified that the Socs encounter thoughts of discomfort, fear, and sorrow through past experiences, just as the Greasers carry out. In conclusion, Ponyboy realized that in spite of one team was richer; the Socs were as equal while the Greasers.

In addition to Ponyboy, Johnny also learned a multitude of lessons throughout his sixteen a lot of life. First of all, Johnny found that life is too short to be packed with regrets. Prior to his journey to Windrixville, he remained as the frightened pet of the Greasers due to a lot of beatings fromhis abusive father and mother and a grouping of Socs. On the whole, Johnny learned that you could live a longer life simply by remaining precious metal.

Lastly, Rowdy Anderson was one of the just Socs that learned a life lesson. After the loss of life of his best friend, Greg Sheldon, Randy’s whole persona changed. Before Bob perished, Randy was happily intoxicated from everything he received, since having been a Soc. Like Greg, he searched a deal with whenever and wherever he could. When problems gone from negative to more serious, Randy finally realized that struggling with was not the answer. The rivalry between Socs and Greasers was not likely to cause not hate. He says to Ponyboy, “So it will not do any great, the struggling with and eliminating. It doesn’t show anything (Hinton 117). Randy was tired of all the struggling because there was no point.

This individual realized that even if the Greasers the fatigue Socs in the rumble, it will not do anything. Greasers will still be where the city located them, at the end, and the Socs would nevertheless be at top. Later on, Randy decides never to take part in the rumble and simply flee the city. However , this individual gained value from a Greaser, Ponyboy, from this. As a result, Randy ran apart, knowing that struggling would not resolve anything.

In the end, the three kids learned required lessons that will help them make better selections in the arriving future. Ponyboy learned that a separation of groups would not change the fact that everyone is human and have their own flaws. Due to his close friends, Johnny was able to make the a year ago of his life worthwhile and packed with “gold. Finally, Randy started to be the first Soc to understand that struggling each other may not solve virtually any problems; it will onlymake the situations even worse.
