Their singular purpose in settling in the us was to maintain and practice their religious beliefs.

The Ma Bay colony was very different from their equal, Jamestown. Jamestown colonists contained mainly sole men who came to the newest World to merely generate profits. These money-hungry profiteers were interested in milking the area for funds crops and other sources of revenue. The Puritans, on the other hand, produced communities exactly where they can closely practice their faith together.

They had a huge focus on family members and community worship. The Puritans likewise created a authorities, which was based on the idea of the rule with the majority. The Jamestown nest was not thinking about making areas.

John Winthrop thought that these meetings had been an harm on the meaningful codes from the Puritan world. As a result, Hutchinson was prohibited from Boston in 1638. This event demonstrated that the Puritans did not create the perfect style society that they had hoped for.
